About Us
At Corona Energy, we are proud to be one of the UK's leading independent energy suppliers, with over 30 years of experience supporting businesses across the UK. Today, we supply approximately 14% of the industrial and commercial gas market, serving around 13,000 gas and electricity customers.
Our success is built on our people. We believe that when our employees thrive, our business thrives. That's why we've created a culture that encourages collaboration, rewards innovation, and supports continuous development. We are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service while investing in the growth and wellbeing of our teams.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced IT Service Delivery Manager to lead the operational IT department. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of IT services across the business while leading our Development and Systems Analysis teams. In this role you will be the link between IT and the wider organisation, managing supplier relationships, driving service excellence, resolving business-critical issues, and creating a culture of continuous improvement.
Reporting directly to the Head of IT and Projects, you will work alongside a collaborative IT leadership team. While technical architecture and strategic technology decisions sit with our Technical Governance Forum, you will own the day-to-day delivery, performance, and operational success of our IT services.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys leadership, stakeholder engagement, problem-solving, and making a difference to business performance.

- Champion best practices across development, testing, documentation, and delivery processes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
