Information Technology - Software Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Information Technology - Software Engineer based in United Kingdom.

This role is centered on designing and delivering advanced AI-enabled software solutions within a proprietary Quality Management application ecosystem. You will play a key role in shaping how artificial intelligence capabilities are embedded into enterprise-grade systems that support critical business operations. Working closely with functional leaders, you will translate business needs into scalable technical architectures and practical AI-driven solutions. The environment is highly collaborative, requiring strong cross-functional communication and alignment between engineering and business stakeholders. You will also ensure that all solutions meet strict standards for data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance. This is a high-impact role where your architectural decisions will directly influence product capability, performance, and long-term scalability.

Accountabilities

  • Design and develop AI-powered features and integrations within a Quality Management software platform, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
  • Define and implement scalable software architecture solutions, leveraging modern patterns such as microservices, event-driven systems, and serverless computing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical designs and AI-driven capabilities.
  • Ensure all solutions adhere to data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance standards across enterprise environments.
  • Mentor developers and promote best practices in AI engineering, software architecture, and system design across the team.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability.

Requirements

  • Strong professional experience in software engineering with a focus on designing and delivering scalable enterprise applications.
  • Solid understanding of AI concepts and experience integrating AI capabilities into production systems or business applications.
  • Hands-on experience with modern software architecture patterns, including microservices, event-driven architecture, and serverless technologies.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Ability to translate complex business problems and metrics into technical AI and software solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a structured and analytical approach to system design.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience mentoring or guiding other engineers in software development and architecture best practices.
