The Role

We are looking for an experienced IT Support professional to provide technical support and administration across our multi-site business.

The successful candidate will support colleagues and customers, maintain secure and reliable IT systems, administer user accounts, and deploy hardware and software. You will be detail-oriented, organised and proactive, with the ability to provide effective technical support across multiple Vyta locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-user Support
    • Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software and network issues.
    • Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops and peripherals.
    • Provide remote and on-site support across Vyta locations.

  • IT Administration

    • Administer user accounts, permissions and access controls.
    • Support Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID and endpoint management systems.
    • Maintain operating system images and application deployment tools.
    • Complete employee onboarding and offboarding activities.
  • Security & Compliance

    • Maintain endpoint security systems and ensure devices receive appropriate updates.
    • Work in accordance with ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials Plus and company policies.
    • Identify and report security risks and incidents appropriately.
  • Projects & Asset Management

    • Support IT projects and system implementations.
    • Manage IT equipment stock, provisioning and lifecycle activities.

The above is not exhaustive and the postholder may be expected to undertake different duties, in line with business needs.

What We Are Looking For

Essential

  • A minimum of two years’ experience in an IT support role or an equivalent Level 3 IT qualification.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365 and Active Directory or Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Experience using an IT service desk or ticketing system.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and provide support across multiple sites.
  • Must be able to work from our Newtownabbey HQ.

Desirable

  • Relevant Microsoft accreditations or IT-based qualifications.
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot or other endpoint management systems.
  • Knowledge of ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus.
  • A full UK driving licence.
