IT Operations Engineer
📍 Location: Watford
We're looking for an experienced IT Operations Engineer to join a growing IT team. This is a varied role combining technical support, user access management, infrastructure monitoring, and IT operations, ensuring critical systems remain secure, available, and performing at their best.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1st line technical support for users and business applications.
- Manage user accounts, access requests, authentication, and certificate-related issues.
- Monitor cloud-hosted services, investigate incidents, and support system availability.
- Produce operational reports and maintain technical documentation.
- Work closely with internal teams and third-party suppliers to resolve issues.
- Support continuous improvement of IT systems and operational processes.

Skills & Experience
- Windows Server and Windows 10/11 administration.
- Microsoft Active Directory and user access management.
- Basic Linux administration.
- PowerShell scripting knowledge.
- Understanding of authentication, certificates, and security best practices.
- Experience supporting production or cloud-hosted environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.

Desirable
- Experience within financial services or another regulated environment.
- Knowledge of ITIL Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
