IT Support Specialist (Apple/macOS Support)
Location: Central London, UK (Fully Onsite – 5 Days/Week)
Contract: 6–12 Months (Extension Subject to Client Approval)
Rate: Up to £328/day

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced IT Support Specialist with strong hands-on expertise in supporting Apple devices and the Apple ecosystem in an enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience troubleshooting Mac, macOS, iPhone, iPad, and other Apple devices, along with excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.

This is a fully onsite role in Central London, requiring five days per week from the client office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite technical support to employees and contractors.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and operating system issues related to Apple devices.
  • Support and troubleshoot MacBooks, iMacs, macOS, iPhones, iPads, and preferably Apple Watch and Apple TV.
  • Configure, deploy, and maintain Apple devices within an enterprise environment.
  • Troubleshoot networking issues including Wi-Fi, VPN, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP on Apple devices.
  • Manage incidents and service requests through ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or similar.
  • Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and knowledge base articles.
  • Escalate complex issues to relevant technical teams when required.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring timely issue resolution.

Mandatory Skills

  • 8+ years of overall IT Support experience.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience supporting Apple/macOS environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting experience with:
    • macOS
    • MacBook/iMac hardware
    • iPhone and iPad
    • Apple peripherals
  • Experience with JAMF Pro / Casper or other Apple MDM solutions.
  • Experience supporting enterprise Apple environments.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • macOS
    • iOS
    • Apple hardware diagnostics
    • Device deployment and configuration
    • Basic networking knowledge including:
      • TCP/IP
      • DNS
      • DHCP
      • VPN
      • Wi-Fi troubleshooting
  • Experience with ITSM/Ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy, etc.).
  • Excellent customer-facing communication skills.
