Infrastructure Account Director / Framework Lead
Lead the delivery of one of the UK's most significant infrastructure programmes.
We're looking for an experienced operational leader to take ownership of a major capital delivery framework, leading a high-profile portfolio of complex infrastructure and engineering projects within a challenging operational environment.
This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of a strategically important account, working at executive level to drive operational excellence, strengthen client relationships, grow the business, and lead high-performing multidisciplinary teams.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex delivery environments and enjoys balancing commercial leadership with outstanding client engagement.
The Role
As Infrastructure Account Director, you will have overall responsibility for the performance and growth of a major infrastructure framework, leading a significant portfolio of capital projects across infrastructure, engineering, and buildings.
You'll work closely with senior clients and internal leadership teams to ensure successful delivery while identifying opportunities for future growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a major infrastructure framework and oversee a diverse portfolio of projects.
- Take full accountability for operational performance and commercial success.
- Manage a significant business with P&L responsibility.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.
- Lead multidisciplinary delivery teams and supply chain partners.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Drive programme performance across safety, quality, delivery, and commercial outcomes.
- Support strategic growth through exceptional client service and operational excellence.
- Develop future leaders and build high-performing teams.

About You
We're looking for an inspiring operational leader with experience delivering major infrastructure, engineering, or construction programmes.
You'll bring:
- Extensive leadership experience within major infrastructure, construction, or engineering environments.
- Experience managing large operational businesses with commercial and financial accountability.
- Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working within long-term frameworks or programme environments.
- A collaborative leadership style with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
- Strong commercial awareness and strategic thinking.
- Confidence operating in complex, highly regulated environments.
While experience within large-scale infrastructure programmes would be advantageous, we're equally interested in exceptional candidates from related sectors who can demonstrate the leadership capability to manage complex delivery programmes.
