Profile Summary
The Infrastructure & Advisory (I&A) team is seeking an Associate to join its growing platform in EMEA.
The successful candidate will be part of the I&A execution team, supporting a broad range of financing and financial advisory assignments across the infrastructure sector. The role offers exposure to multiple products and transaction types, including project finance, acquisition financing, M&A advisory, financing advisory and capital raising transactions.
Working closely with senior bankers, Vice Presidents and Directors across the platform, the Associate will play a key role in transaction execution, financial analysis, client engagement and business development activities, while helping to mentor junior team members and contributing to the continued growth of the Infrastructure & Advisory franchise.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Support the execution and delivery of financing and financial advisory transactions across the Infrastructure & Advisory business.
- Work on a broad range of transaction types, including project finance, acquisition financing, M&A advisory, financing advisory and capital raising mandates.
- Lead the preparation and review of financial models, valuation analyses and other quantitative assessments.
- Prepare and review client presentations, pitchbooks, information memoranda, credit applications and internal committee materials.
- Conduct industry, market, company and transaction research to support client coverage, strategic analysis and business development initiatives.
- Coordinate and support due diligence processes through the review and analysis of financial, commercial, legal and technical information.
- Assist with transaction structuring, documentation, approvals and execution processes.
- Manage workstreams and coordinate effectively with internal product, sector and regional teams as well as external advisers and clients.
- Support client relationship management activities and contribute to the development of new business opportunities.
- Mentor and support Analysts within the Infrastructure & Advisory junior pool.
- Develop a broad understanding of infrastructure financing structures, strategic advisory situations and capital markets solutions across sectors.
- Maintain transaction records and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Undertake ad hoc analysis, strategic projects and other assignments as required.

Qualifications, Skills, And Experience
- 3–6 years' experience in investment banking, corporate finance, project finance, acquisition finance, M&A, transaction services, consulting or a related financial services environment.
- Strong analytical, financial and problem-solving capabilities.
- Advanced financial modelling, valuation and financial statement analysis skills.
- Demonstrated interest in infrastructure, energy, utilities, transport, digital infrastructure or related sectors.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver high-quality outputs in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working directly with clients, advisers and transaction counterparties.
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment and support the development of junior colleagues.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification with a strong academic record.
