Role: Infrastructure Analyst
Location: Liverpool or Manchester (Hybrid)
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 DOE
Are you an experienced Infrastructure Analyst looking to work with modern technologies in a business that's investing heavily in its IT estate?
We're recruiting for an Infrastructure Analyst to join a well-established organisation that's undertaking an ambitious infrastructure transformation programme. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on enterprise-scale projects, gain exposure to the latest technologies, and play a key role in shaping the future of the IT environment.
What you'll be doing:
- Delivering infrastructure and technical projects from design through to implementation.
- Supporting and maintaining a modern Microsoft and VMware environment.
- Working with Azure, Entra ID and hybrid cloud technologies.
- Collaborating with project managers and technical teams to deliver business-critical solutions.
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation, disaster recovery plans and system configurations.
- Identifying opportunities to improve infrastructure performance, resilience and security.

What we're looking for:
- Strong experience with VMware administration.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Entra ID.
- Experience supporting Windows Server (2016/2019/2022).
- Good networking knowledge, including routing and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and DFS.
- Understanding of High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions.
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools such as SolarWinds.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to problem solving.

Bonus points if you have experience with:
- Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, Intune)
- Azure Virtual Machines
- FortiGate Firewalls
- Mimecast
- Hyper-V
- Remote Desktop Services
- ITIL or Microsoft Azure certifications
- Cyber Security best practices
