Infrastructure Deployment Engineer

Salary: 30k/35k AED Per Month - Tax Free (6k/7k GBP per month tax free)
Location: Relocation to Abu Dhabi

We are hiring an Infrastructure Deployment Engineer to join a leading technology provider in their Abu Dhabi office. This business works on mission critical defense programs across the region, building advanced systems that support large scale operations. You will join the deployment team to help turn high level systems designs into physical reality.

Discover the role

As an Infrastructure Deployment Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing infrastructure solutions based on designs provided by the systems engineering team. You will define hardware configurations, prepare detailed rack and network diagrams, manage technical specifications, and integrate hardware and virtualization platforms. This is a hands-on role that also supports internal infrastructure platforms and ensures compliance with high security standards.

Discover the responsibilities

  • Translate high-level designs into detailed implementation plans and hardware specifications
  • Configure and deploy physical servers, storage, and networking equipment
  • Implement virtualization platforms and container runtimes like Kubernetes when required
  • Set up network configurations including routing, firewalls, and segmentation
  • Support system integration and site deployments in tactical environments
  • Evaluate hardware vendors, support the procurement process, and manage firmware updates
  • Maintain company internal virtualization platforms and improve monitoring and automation
  • Produce detailed design documentation, as-built diagrams, and configuration records

Discover the requirements

  • Eight or more years of hands-on experience in infrastructure deployment or systems engineering
  • Strong experience with physical server installation, configuration, and rack diagrams
  • Solid networking knowledge covering routing, firewalls, and network segmentation
  • Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware or KVM
  • Experience deploying container platforms like Docker or Kubernetes
  • Solid Linux administration and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with defense projects, ruggedized hardware, or air gapped systems is a plus
