Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer
Duration: long-term contract
Location: Hybrid (x3 days from Knutsford)
Visa: British or ILR
No Student Visa
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise infrastructure across Windows and Linux environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems administration, networking, database management, and infrastructure automation, with the ability to develop scalable and reliable solutions that support business-critical applications.

- Design, deploy, administer, and maintain enterprise infrastructure across Windows Server and Linux/Unix platforms.
- Manage, monitor, and optimize network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and support relational and NoSQL databases to ensure application reliability.
Requirements
- Strong experience managing enterprise infrastructure in Windows Server and Linux/Unix environments.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, firewalls, and network security.
- Experience administering SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
- Proficiency in Python and Java for scripting, automation, and system integration.
- Hands-on experience with automation and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or similar.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in complex enterprise environments.
- Experience supporting highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructure solutions.
