Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Leeds
Salary: Competitive + Benefits
Shift Type: Monday – Friday (Flexible Working Hours)
The Opportunity
A growing, employee-owned Civil & Structural Engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join its expanding Leeds team. This is a key hire within a forward-thinking consultancy delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions across both public and private sector developments. The role offers the opportunity to take ownership of projects, work closely with clients, and contribute to technically challenging schemes.
With a strong pipeline of work and a clear growth strategy, the business offers genuine long-term progression, including a pathway towards senior leadership and Director-level positions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver infrastructure design projects from concept through to construction
- Prepare detailed drainage designs in accordance with current standards
- Produce technical drawings and documentation for approvals and construction
- Undertake flood risk assessments and develop drainage strategies
- Manage and coordinate Section 104 agreements
- Liaise with clients, local authorities and multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver designs using AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D

Requirements
- Minimum 4 years’ experience within a civil engineering consultancy
- Strong background in drainage design (essential)
- Experience in flood risk assessments and drainage strategies
- Working knowledge of Section 104 agreements (essential)
- Exposure to Section 38 & 278 agreements, highways and earthworks design (desirable)
- Proficient in AutoCAD and InfraDrainage (essential)
- Experience with Civil 3D (desirable)
- Ability to manage projects from inception to completion
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Full UK driving licence
