Infrastructure Engineer
Tempest Vane Partners have partnered with a growing systematic hedge fund who have many years of expertise in the commodities trading markets. They have opened up a new role in their infrastructure team which is currently a small, lean team that builds and maintains the company's entire infrastructure and compute stack.
This role would suit a bright and driven Infrastructure Engineer who enjoys working in a fast paced trading environment. You will be working on many different technologies across their End User and Infrastructure platforms, including Entra ID, InTune, Active Directory, Windows 10/11 and the M365 stack. For this reason, the successful application should a broad skill set covering these technologies as well as strong scripting and infrastructure-as-code skills with languages like Powershell, Terraform or similar.

You will work on a number of business critical infrastructure projects including:
Identity security hardening initiatives Fleet migration project Application performance investigation and remediation
This is a chance to join a growing firm that are establishing themselves as a reputable name in the systematic trading space. You will work with users across the organisation including developers, researchers and traders which will in turn offer exposure to business initiatives and scope for a meaningful impact.

The ideal candidate will have a worked for a hedge fund, trading firm or financial markets business and have at least 3 years of relevant experience in the industry. The role encompasses both support and projects and requires the successful applicant to work from their office which is based in Central London.
