Civil Infrastructure Engineer – Infrastructure Group
Location: Bath, UK Employer: Buro Happold
Are you a Civil Infrastructure Engineer looking to expand your technical and operational expertise on a global scale? Buro Happold is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join our Infrastructure Group at our Bath office.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver civil infrastructure design from feasibility and option studies to detailed engineering, ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest technical standards
- Prepare technical reports supporting planning applications and design-stage deliverables
- Plan and manage CAD documentation for design projects
- Develop technical specifications for civil infrastructure work
- Monitor and report on key design decisions, ensuring alignment with client objectives and company standards
Requirements & Experience
- A strong technical background in drainage design, roads, earthworks, and utilities coordination
- Proven experience working in multidisciplinary teams or contributing to large-scale international projects
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline (civil, structural, or environmental)
- Commitment to pursuing professional registration with a recognised engineering institution
