Infrastructure Engineer – Future Role Registration Interest
** About the Opportunity** This is an opportunity to register your interest in future Infrastructure Engineer roles, positions that would support the delivery of robust, scalable cloud and on-premises systems across a dynamic, technology-driven organisation.
Roles of this type may sit within a collaborative engineering environment where infrastructure underpins business-critical applications and services. The work would involve partnering across development, operations, and security teams to design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure solutions, with scope to improve system reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.
What You Would Do
Typical responsibilities would include:
- Managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and GCP environments
- Supporting the design and deployment of containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes
- Contributing to CI/CD pipeline development and infrastructure automation
- Administering Linux and Windows server environments
- Supporting microservices architecture and distributed systems implementations
- Collaborating with development teams to optimise infrastructure for performance and scalability
- Assisting with infrastructure security, compliance, and best-practice implementation
- Contributing to infrastructure documentation and knowledge-sharing

What You Could Bring
Most roles of this type require the following:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Strong understanding of containerisation technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks
- Working knowledge of Linux and Windows system administration
- Experience with scripting languages such as Bash or Python
- Understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaborative working abilities
