Who we are
We are a leading provider of British TV and VPN Services abroad, we have customers in over 100 countries and we're still growing after over 26 years in business!
The VPN arm of our business is looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our VPN team on a contract basis (Initial 6 months).
Where are we?
This can be a fully remote role, however we would ideally like someone to be able to commute to our office in Haslingden (Lancashire) once or twice a month.

Job Responsibilities:
- Moving internal servers to cloud-based software, with full integrated backups on each
- A new VPN protocol needs to be built, and integrated into our system which runs on an SQL database. We already have a built VPN system, but using obsolete technology. New script, integrating, and testing required on multiple routers
- Migrating current Radius servers to cloud-based rather than hardware-based
- IP networking and network engineering, assist with any networking issues we may encounter. System already in place using multiple dedicated lines in different data centers, but it is constantly growing and will continue to grow, so further solutions regarding other VPN protocols needed
- We have a Sage accounting program running on a Windows server, which needs updating. Sage experience would be great
- You must be experienced and knowledgeable on networking and IP networking. We are a VPN company, so networking is essential
- Set up and manage radius servers. We use FreeRadius, experience in this would be crucial
- Experience with SoftEther
- Website development. Not essential, but we have a couple of websites which we need help with from time to time
- We currently have a Veeam backup system which holds a few instances, experience would be desired but not essential
- Experience with VMware. Our servers run on VMware for maintenance of our IPs, experience would be important
