Key details:

- Design and implement high-availability architectures across on-premises and cloud environments, ensuring minimal downtime and service continuity

- Implement and maintain AWS security best practices, including network segmentation, IAM policies, and encryption
- Leverage AI-powered coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) to:

- Build PowerShell/Python code and infrastructure-as-code templates
- Streamline troubleshooting and routine operations
- Configure server monitoring alerts and thresholds; configure and monitor VM backups on Rubrik; execute daily monitoring checks
- Design and build servers’ architecture considering High Availability and Disaster Recovery (DR); carry out capacity planning; develop, manage, and test backup and recovery plans
- Automate daily operational tasks; define and apply GPOs; control access permissions and privileges; manage Office 365 configurations
- Participate in an on-call support rota to provide after-hours and weekend coverage for critical infrastructure incidents; execute planned production environment changes outside of standard business hours

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
