Infrastructure Engineer
DVSA Cloud Infrastructure Team Engineer – Permanent
Location: Bristol, Swansea, Leeds, Nottingham, Newcastle, Oldham (Chadderton), Birmingham (Garretts Green), or Uxbridge. (Currently based in Uxbridge, relocating to Yeading in 2028 during estates work.)
Location Notes:
- Temporary posting in Uxbridge due to redevelopment.
- London Weighting Allowance of £4,000 applicable for the duration.
Salary: £35,663 per annum Type: Permanent
About the Role
The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) ensures road safety through rigorous vehicle testing and regulatory measures. The Cloud Infrastructure Engineering team underpins critical IT services nationwide, prioritising user experience, security, efficiency, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
Focuses on second/third-line IT support, bridging Service Desk and domain-specific experts. Responsibilities include:

- Maintenance of core infrastructure services across cloud platforms.

- Delivering new/dynamically updated infrastructure aligned with business and user needs for maximum impact.
