Job Description
Position Overview
The Infrastructure Planner's role is responsible for developing and maintaining integrated Infra plans for each Site Director area within the client construction projects. It draws together key milestones; critical dates and interdependencies between key stakeholders and Operational plans/programmes.
The post incumbent works with Stakeholders to identify risk, opportunities and potential mitigation and through the delivery of resourced schedules and succinct reports, provides added value to the Strategic Programme. The role is also responsible for the timely submission of integrated Infra plans within the strategic level integrated plan.
Programme Management & Planning Support
- Integrate multi-source data into resource-loaded Primavera P6 schedules ๐
- Engage extensively with cross-organisational stakeholders and KSHs ๐ค
- Develop and manage Site Director and integrated infrastructure plans ๐๏ธ
- Analyse, challenge, and report risks, issues, opportunities, and discrepancies ๐
- Run cause-and-effect and mitigation scenarios to support decision-making ๐
- Maintain a single, robust โversion of the truthโ with NC, PMs, and Client โ
- Interface with Engineering and Compliance to capture scope and dependencies โ๏ธ
- Produce monthly progress and performance reports for senior boards ๐
- Submit accurate integrated plans into the strategic baseline each month ๐๏ธ

Qualifications
Essential Requirements
- Strong Primavera P6 knowledge (practitioner level) ๐
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with Project Teams ๐ค
- Experience planning across the full project lifecycle ๐
- Proven experience in monthly programme updates and reporting ๐
- Experience reviewing and assessing supplier schedules ๐
- Solid understanding of risk and opportunity management within planning โ ๏ธ
- Experience working in a client-facing environment ๐ข
- Professional and effective stakeholder communication skills ๐ฃ๏ธ
- Good commercial awareness ๐ผ
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) ๐ป
Desirable Requirements
- Experience working in an operational environment ๐๏ธ
- Experience in a secure environment ๐
- Construction / implementation planning experience ๐ง
- Typically 4โ5 yearsโ relevant experience โณ
- Experience managing schedules on NEC3 / NEC4 projects ๐
- Experience working with integrated programme schedules ๐งฉ
Qualifications & Training

Additional Information
Staff or umbrella contractor. Potential of 3 days a week on client site in Helensburgh Hybrid role with 3 days per week in the Client's Bristol office.
