Associate Director / Investment Director - Infrastructure
I'm currently supporting a leading infrastructure investment platform on the appointment of an Associate Director / Investment Director to join its growing portfolio investment team in London.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an investment professional who enjoys taking ownership of businesses after acquisition and working closely with management teams to create long-term value.
The portfolio spans a broad range of infrastructure sectors, offering exposure to multiple investment themes and the opportunity to work across businesses at different stages of maturity. You'll take ownership of portfolio assets, build trusted relationships with CEOs and Boards, identify and deliver value creation initiatives, support refinancing and strategic projects, and help prepare businesses for future acquisitions or exits. Alongside this, you'll continue to lead investment committee papers, financial analysis, due diligence, and transaction workstreams as opportunities arise.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

This is not a traditional transaction execution role. It is designed for someone who enjoys partnering with management teams, influencing strategy, and driving operational improvements across a portfolio, while remaining closely involved in investment activity.
If you're already in a portfolio-focused role, or you're in an investment team where you've developed meaningful post-investment experience and are looking for a position with genuine ownership, I'd be happy to share more details confidentially.
