Job Title: Infrastructure Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead and deliver a portfolio of infrastructure, network, cloud, AI, and regulatory-driven initiatives. This role requires a strong blend of technical project delivery expertise, governance oversight, stakeholder management, and compliance-focused execution. The successful candidate will manage infrastructure and application upgrade projects driven by mandated business, regulatory, compliance, and operational requirements, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timelines while maintaining robust governance and documentation standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end delivery of infrastructure, networking, cloud, AI, and application upgrade projects.
  • Manage network refresh, AWS cloud transformation, and AI-related technology initiatives across the organisation.
  • Drive projects associated with mandated regulatory, compliance, governance, risk, and operational requirements.
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, resources, and success criteria.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, RAID logs, governance packs, status reports, and delivery documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to organisational governance frameworks, regulatory obligations, compliance standards, and audit requirements.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement across business, technology, risk, compliance, and regulatory teams.
  • Coordinate project steering committees, governance forums, and executive updates.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and issues.

Essential Skills

  • Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager delivering infrastructure, networking, or enterprise technology projects.
  • Strong track record managing infrastructure and application upgrade programs.
  • Experience delivering projects within highly regulated environments.
  • Knowledge of governance, compliance, risk management, regulatory requirements, and audit procedures.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
  • Exposure to AI-related projects and emerging technologies.
  • Expertise in project delivery methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid approaches.
  • Strong documentation, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent project management certification.
  • Experience working within financial services, regulated industries, or large enterprise environments.
  • Understanding of infrastructure architecture, networking technologies, cloud services, and cybersecurity principles.
