Infrastructure Project Manager
Location: UK-based (Remote with occasional travel to Kent office)
Contract Duration: 3-month initial contract (with potential for extension)
Rate: £400 - £450, Inside IR35
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to join our customer on an initial 3-month contract. This role is ideal for a delivery-focused professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and is comfortable managing multiple short-term project engagements (typically 3–12 weeks).
You will be responsible for leading a range of infrastructure and engineering-focused projects, working with small, highly skilled engineering teams to deliver outcomes efficiently and to a high standard. The role is predominantly remote, with occasional visits to a Kent-based office as required.
The successful candidate will bring a structured approach to delivery, strong stakeholder management skills, and excellent organisation skills as you'll be managing multiple concurrent project streams (typically 5–10).

- Proven experience as an Infrastructure Project Manager within technical environments
- Demonstrable experience delivering infrastructure and engineering-focused projects
- Experience managing multiple concurrent project streams (5–10 projects simultaneously)
- Typical projects will vary, but the current pipeline includes:
- SharePoint migrations
- Office relocations and moves
- Hardware refresh programmes
- Microsoft 365 setup and migrations
- Microsoft Teams telephony migrations
- Endpoint migrations to Entra ID
- MFA configuration and deployment
- Mail signature deployments
- Experience leading engineering teams (typically up to 6 people)
- Strong remote delivery experience and ability to manage distributed teams
- Prince2 Practitioner certification or equivalent
- Solid understanding of Waterfall delivery methodologies
- Strong stakeholder communication and planning capabilities
Desirable Experience
- Experience delivering AI-focused or emerging technology projects
- Exposure to projects involving Big Block or Sigma environments
- Background working within Financial Services, Healthcare, or Service Provider environments would lend itself well.
- Experience in rapid planning engagements (e.g., structured 3-day project planning approaches)
