Job Title: Infrastructure Technician
Location: Leeds
Salary: Competitive + Benefits
Shift Type: Monday – Friday (Flexible Working Hours)
The Opportunity
A leading, employee-owned Civil & Structural Engineering consultancy is looking to appoint an Infrastructure Technician to join its growing Leeds office.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career technician to join a dynamic and forward-thinking consultancy working at the forefront of the built environment across both public and private sector projects.
You will play a key role in delivering infrastructure design solutions, particularly within drainage, while gaining exposure to a wide range of development projects. The business offers a clear pathway for progression, with genuine opportunities to advance into senior and leadership roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce infrastructure drawings and designs from concept through to construction
- Develop drainage designs in line with current industry standards
- Prepare technical drawings for approvals and construction issue
- Utilise AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D for infrastructure design
- Coordinate effectively with internal design teams and external stakeholders
- Maintain accurate document control (incoming and outgoing project information)

Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role within civil engineering consultancy
- Proven experience in drainage design (essential)
- Exposure to earthworks and highways design (desirable)
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and InfraDrainage (essential)
- Ability to work across multiple projects within a multidisciplinary environment
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Full UK driving licence
