Infrastructure Tester x2
Location: Hampshire (Onsite)
Duration: 18 Months
Clearance: DV Clearance required (Active)
Rate: £450 - £550 a day per day - Outside IR35
We are seeking an experienced DV Cleared Infrastructure Tester to join a major secure government programme based on-site in Basingstoke. This is a hands-on testing role focused on validating and assuring complex Zero Trust Infrastructure environments supporting mission-critical services.
Working within a highly secure delivery team, you will be responsible for planning, executing and reporting infrastructure testing activities across a range of technologies, ensuring solutions are robust, secure and fit for operational deployment.

- Design and execute infrastructure test plans, test cases and test scripts.
- Validate Zero Trust architecture components and supporting infrastructure.
- Perform end-to-end testing across servers, networks, security controls and integrations.
- Verify deployments, configurations and environment readiness.
- Identify, document and track defects through to resolution.
- Support system integration, functional, non-functional and operational testing activities.
- Work closely with engineers, architects, security specialists and delivery teams.
- Produce clear test evidence, reports and assurance documentation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and quality standards.
Essential Skills & Experience

- Active UK DV Clearance.
- Strong hands-on infrastructure testing experience within secure environments.
- Experience testing complex enterprise infrastructure solutions.
- Knowledge of Zero Trust principles and security architectures.
- Understanding of Windows and Linux server environments.
- Experience testing network infrastructure, authentication services and security controls.
- Familiarity with virtualised and cloud-based environments.
- Strong defect management and test reporting skills.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation abilities.
