About The Role
Are you a nurse with some experience in a Primary Care setting, or a Paramedic looking for a role to develop your skills in minor illness and injuries? You’ll find a friendly welcome and a home for your talents at Practice Plus Group. Whether you’re coming from a General Practice, the ambulance service or elsewhere, we’ll give you time to use your skills – and help you build a fulfilling career.
As we are a 7 day service we are looking for Practitioners who can work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends and our shifts range from 7.5 hours – 12.5 hours and as we understand the need for flexible working are also open to discussing hours that suit you.

What you'll be doing
You’ll be joining the team as an Initial Assessment Practitioner, triaging patients who present at our modern, purpose built centre. We’re looking for Nurses and Paramedics with the same passion for quality care that our team share, to build on the excellent reputation of the centre while constantly learning and developing.
- Working hours - 37.5 hrs per week, over 7 day week. including weekends and evenings until 22:00.
- 3 x 10 hrs shifts and 1 x 7.5 hr shift per week
What we'll look for in you
- Registered Nurse with current registration with the UK Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) OR registered paramedic with HCPC
- Post qualification experience – including experience in an acute setting.
- A passion for delivering high quality patient care
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to deliver safe, effective and compassionate care
