About Aston Martin

For over 110 years, Aston Martin has created some of the world’s most desirable ultra-luxury performance vehicles. Combining beautiful design, innovative engineering and exceptional craftsmanship, our products continue to set new standards for performance and customer experience. As the automotive industry evolves towards increasingly connected, software-led products, we are seeking an Innovation & Advanced Technology Lead – Software Defined Vehicles & Connectivity to help define the next generation of Aston Martin vehicles.

Role Overview

Working at the forefront of advanced systems engineering, you will lead the development and delivery of our Software Defined Vehicle and Connectivity technology roadmap, translating emerging technologies and strategic opportunities into actionable engineering direction.

As the Innovation & Advanced Technology Lead, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, evaluating and integrating new technologies that can enhance vehicle capability, digital experiences and connected services. You will be responsible for leading early-stage concept feasibility activities, assessing how innovative software, connectivity and digital technologies can be successfully integrated into future vehicle architectures while ensuring alignment with Aston Martin’s brand, business and product strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and delivery of the Software Defined Vehicle and Connectivity technology roadmap.

  • Lead early-stage concept feasibility activities.
  • Assess the integration of innovative software, connectivity and digital technologies into future vehicle architectures.
  • Evaluate technology readiness, compatibility and integration requirements.
  • Provide clear recommendations that support critical decisions during concept development.
  • Contribute to the continuous evolution of Aston Martin’s systems engineering capability.
  • Drive improvements in methodologies, frameworks and tools that support early-phase technology development.
  • Act as a champion for innovation, fostering a collaborative environment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
