The Company
This is an excellent opportunity to join a market-leading food brand that continues to push the boundaries within their category. As the business grows, they are seeking a dynamic Innovation Manager to deliver exciting NPD and EPD across their portfolio.

The Role
Reporting in to the Innovation Controller, you’ll lead and take ownership of the end-to-end management of exceptional products, monitoring consumer insights and market research to explore new trends to bring them to life.
You will prepare compelling briefs for new products, using your expertise in clear and confident communication to translate complex ideas into simple and engaging concepts for internal and external stakeholders. Overseeing prototype creation, you will be key in ensuring products have a robust manufacturing process defined and will facilitate approval for their scale-up.
You’ll ensure that each project moves smoothly through a structured Stage-Gate process, coordinating cross functional teams to take ideas from scoping through to launch. As Innovation Manager, you will create products are desirable, feasible, and scalable, ensuring alignment with strategic, commercial, and operational goals.

The Person
You’ll be an experienced product developer who is looking for the next step in their career, with a degree in food science or a related field. You will have hands on experience with NPD, and an ability to conduct market research & analyse insights to translate trends into actionable product concepts.
You’ll be an excellent communicator, able to navigate and influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders with ease. Your approach will be naturally collaborative, with the ability to build trust, maintain alignment and ensure every stakeholder is clear on their role. Strong project management skills are essential for this role, as you will be managing multiple projects at pace.
Above all, you’ll bring a positive, energetic mindset - pioneering in your approach, accountable in your delivery, considerate of others’ priorities and driven to deliver exceptional new products to market.
