About the Role

Responsibilities

Tech Community of Expertise (TCOE) (circa 50% LoE)

  • This role will play an integral part in managing and strengthening the TCOE’s Helpdesk partnerships with UK-based and global institutions.
  • This will include stewarding relationships with a range of partners, such as think tanks, non-profit organisations, academic institutions, government stakeholders, and local implementing partners, ensuring effective coordination across a diverse ecosystem of technical expertise providers.
  • In addition, the postholder will oversee and manage Helpdesk requests that partners are engaged on, including supporting the full lifecycle from initial scoping, allocation of appropriate expertise, oversight of delivery, and follow-up with FCDO to ensure quality and responsiveness of outputs.

Frontier Tech Hub (circa 40% LoE)

  • This role will involve taking the lead on designing and coordinating the successful execution of a series of online and in-person FT Hub events targeted for November 2026.
  • This will include programme management and delivery – ensuring coordination and tracking of the progress up to and during the event.
  • It will also involve curating and building content, running a panel picking event, digital logistics, production, designing and executing a comms pipeline, and ensuring key guests and partners are in attendance.
  • FT Hub runs as a flexible programme, and therefore other events management, programme management, communications and partnerships management may be required.

International Development Innovation Alliance (IDIA) (circa 10% LoE)

  • This role will be solely focused and responsible for continuing the evolution and uptake/usage of PULSE, IDIA’s online collaboration platform.
  • PULSE was launched at the December 2025 IDIA Summit, and is designed as a space for the 400 strong community to access content, resources, share learning and connect.
  • PULSE needs a committed and structured approach to driving engagement from across the IDIA membership.
  • You will be supported by the Senior MEL Officer, Innovation and the Senior Communications Associate, Innovation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
