Join us as an Innovation Engagement Manager

You’ll play a key role in driving a culture of innovation in a fast-paced environment, helping to create impact for our customers and colleagues.

You’ll develop and deliver engaging internal and external strategies that bring innovation to life across the bank.

Build your profile and network, working with a wide range of stakeholders across industry, academia and the wider innovation ecosystem.

You’ll work from home some of the time, but you’ll also spend a minimum 2 days per week working from the office.

What you’ll do

In this role, you’ll help shape and embed a culture of innovation across the bank. You’ll drive colleague engagement by leveraging existing innovation capabilities while identifying new opportunities to expand how we connect, collaborate and innovate.

You’ll establish and inspire a network of innovation ambassadors, increasing awareness of emerging technologies and encouraging new ways of thinking across the organisation.

You’ll also be:

  • Collaborating with teams across the bank, particularly those connected to the innovation economy, to strengthen engagement and alignment
  • Managing and coordinating the innovation events pipeline, delivering impactful internal and external engagement activities
  • Building relationships with academia and the technology sector to enhance our profile and help identify future talent pipelines
  • Representing the bank at key innovation events, identifying opportunities to showcase our work and learn from the wider ecosystem

The skills you'll need

You’ll bring a genuine passion for innovation and an interest in how it can drive meaningful change for customers and colleagues. You’ll be comfortable working in a fast-moving environment and confident in your ability to deliver and embed new ideas.

You’ll also need:

  • The ability to present ideas clearly and confidently, adapting to different audiences and levels of seniority
  • Strong technology and business awareness, with the ability to apply emerging trends to real business challenges
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills, with a high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, enabling you to engage stakeholders and build strong relationships
