Key Responsibilities of the Innovation Specialist
Lead transformation – design and execute the firm’s innovation strategy, influencing senior stakeholders and building momentum for change. Build and empower a team – develop a high-performing innovation function, guiding projects from idea to implementation. Drive adoption of new tech – from AI tools to workflow automation, ensuring measurable improvements in productivity and client service. Shape culture – foster a mindset of collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement across the business. Stay ahead of the curve – scan the legal and tech market, bringing in best practices and emerging solutions.

Skills & Attributes of the Innovation Specialist
Proven experience in legal innovation, technology, or transformation, ideally within a law firm or professional services. Strong ability to inspire, influence, and deliver change across diverse teams. Knowledge of AI, legal tech platforms, and process optimisation. Excellent communication skills – able to bridge the gap between lawyers, technologists, and clients.
