Inside Sales Account Manager

Location: Northwich - Hybrid

This role follows a non-negotiable 3-day hybrid working pattern. Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the office.

About The Job

We're looking for an Inside Sales Account Manager to join our Comms-Care team.

In this role, you'll manage a portfolio of customer accounts, helping customers get the most from their services while identifying opportunities to grow and develop existing relationships. You'll be responsible for managing a high volume of accounts, generating sales opportunities, and delivering an excellent customer experience.

If you enjoy developing customer relationships, nurturing opportunities, and making a real commercial impact, while working closely with colleagues across the wider sales organisation, this could be an excellent next step in your sales career.

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of customer accounts, building strong and lasting relationships.
  • Help customers get the most from their services by understanding their needs and goals.
  • Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts through upselling, cross-selling, and renewals.
  • Engage with customers through calls, emails, and other channels to build relationships and uncover opportunities.
  • Manage sales opportunities from initial enquiry through to completion, maintaining an accurate pipeline.
  • Work closely with colleagues across the wider sales team to deliver the best outcomes for customers.
  • Deliver an excellent customer experience while supporting both customer success and business growth.

Skills and Experience

To set you up for success, we are looking for the following skills and experience:

  • Experience in inside sales, account management, business development, or a similar customer-focused sales role.
  • The ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • A proactive approach to identifying opportunities and supporting account growth.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with customers and colleagues at all levels.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Experience working with CRM systems and maintaining an accurate sales pipeline.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work closely with wider sales and support teams.
