Company Description

Bearings South West Ltd, founded in 2016, has rapidly grown to become the largest independent stockist of bearings and power transmission products in the South West. The company supplies a wide range of engineering components, including bearings, pulleys, belts, chains, motors, pumps, seals, and lubricants, to local industries. With an experienced and knowledgeable team, Bearings South West focuses on responsive, high-quality service, including out-of-hours support. The business manages its own logistics to ensure parts arrive as quickly as possible, minimizing downtime for customers. In addition to product supply, the company provides engineering services such as motor, gearbox and pump repairs, fan balancing, machining, and trade counter support.

Role Description

The Inside Sales Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based at Bearings South West Ltd in Yate. This position supports the sales team by handling customer inquiries, preparing quotations, processing orders, and coordinating with the warehouse and logistics to ensure timely delivery. The Inside Sales Assistant contributes to sales growth by building strong relationships with customers and ensuring a reliable, efficient order-to-delivery process. There would be administration duties to within the office.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess skills in Inside Sales and Sales, with experience supporting a busy sales environment.
  • Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Order Processing, including accuracy in data entry and familiarity with invoicing or ERP/CRM systems.
  • Beneficial qualifications include experience in industrial, mechanical, or engineering products and previous work in a trade counter or B2B sales setting.
  • Additional desirable attributes include strong organizational skills, attention to detail, proficiency in basic office software, and the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team.
