Job Requirements
The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, commercially aware and confident communicating with customers both verbally and in writing. They will be motivated by sales opportunities, comfortable working collaboratively and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Proactive: takes initiative, anticipates customer needs and looks for ways to improve efficiency and service.
- Commercially minded: able to identify opportunities, follow up leads and contribute to revenue growth.

- Collaborative: works effectively with colleagues across Sales, Customer Service, Operations and other departments.
- Organized and detail-oriented: able to manage quotations, CRM updates, reporting and follow-up activity accurately.
- Ambitious and results-driven: motivated to support business growth and contribute to the wider success of the Sales team.

Job Responsibilities
- Manage and respond to customer enquiries relating to pricing, quotations, services and general information in a timely, accurate and professional manner.
- Support the wider Sales team by prioritizing enquiries and activities in line with business objectives and company strategy.
- Prepare quotations, follow up on sales leads and support the conversion of new business opportunities.
- Handle enquiries from both new and existing customers, including quotation requests, cold calling, tender preparation, sales presentations and general sales support.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell Samskip services within the existing customer portfolio.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer activity records within the CRM system.
- Work closely with Customer Service, Operations, Finance and other internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery for new and existing customers.
- Support the onboarding of new business, including the implementation of SOPs, credit requests, internal handovers and launch meetings where required.
- Assist in resolving escalated customer complaints by working collaboratively with internal teams and communicating with customers in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure customer documentation, service information and operational requirements are maintained accurately within relevant systems.
- Act as a professional ambassador for Samskip, ensuring all customer communication reflects the company’s values, service standards and brand reputation.
