Position: Sales Engineer – Access Control & Video Surveillance
Location: Ascot (Hybrid)
Salary: £40-£50,000 + bonus
We are recruiting for an Internal Sales Engineer to join a growing security technology business specialising in integrated access control and video surveillance solutions.
This is a key technical role supporting the sales team across the full sales lifecycle, providing system design, technical expertise, and pre/post-sales support for enterprise security solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to the sales team throughout the sales process
- Write orders into business sales and management system for UK and Ireland
- Translate customer requirements into compliant, cost-effective system designs
- Produce equipment schedules and BOMs
- Maintain expertise across leading platforms such as Paxton, LenelS2, Gallagher, Genetec, Milestone, Avigilon, Axis, and Hanwha
- Support product demonstrations and assist with technical client meetings and site surveys where required
- Ensure designs meet BS EN standards, NDAA compliance, GDPR, and cyber-security best practice
- Work closely with project teams to ensure a smooth transition from sales to implementation

- Background in a pre-sales, admin, or technical sales support role
- Ability to communicate technical solutions clearly to customers
- Knowledge of access control and CCTV systems with design experience desirable
- Understanding of IP networking (VLANs, PoE, bandwidth, cyber security)
