YOUR ROLE
Our Air & Ocean Business Development team have an exciting opportunity for an Inside Sales Executive to help grow both gross and net revenue across established customer portfolios.
This role will be based at our Pontypridd office and is a great entry point into a sales and account management career, working closely with Field Sales and internal stakeholders to identify opportunities, qualify leads and develop customer relationships.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
As an Inside Sales Executive within the Air & Ocean Sales team, you will be proactive, commercially curious and comfortable engaging customers through outbound contact, research and insight-led conversations. While you will support escalated customer issues when needed, your primary focus will be on sales growth and account development, with key responsibilities being:

- Generate customer interest and identify new business opportunities.
- Conduct customer, market and database research in targeted sectors.
- Prepare quotes, proposals, presentations and responses to customer requests.
- Support Field Sales by qualifying prospects and assisting with customer visits.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships to drive retention and growth.
- Develop a strong understanding of our products, services and value propositions.
- Support RFQs, MBRs, QBRs and sales reporting activities.
- Act as a point of contact for escalating customer needs, working cross-functionally to resolve issues.
- Ensure processes and SOPs are followed in line with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Support the wider Air & Ocean Sales team with additional projects.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
To be successful in your application you will have a strong customer focus, commercially minded and eager to build a long-term sales career within a growing third-party logistics provider. You will be able to demonstrate:
- Experience in sales support or internal sales role.
- Excellent communication skills able to build strong relationships.
- Confident in engaging customers via phone, email and virtual channels.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent team player able to work with remote teams.
- IT Literate, able to use MS package.
- Experience of working within a freight forwarding or logistics business would be desirable.
