Inside Sales & Lead Generation Manager

Salary: up to £55,000 per annum plus £20,000 OTE.

Location: Rochdale

Are you a high performing Inside Sales or SDR leader with a passion for developing people, creating sales opportunities and delivering measurable commercial results?

We're looking for an Inside Sales & Lead Generation Manager to lead and develop our internal sales function, ensuring a consistent flow of qualified opportunities for our field sales team. This is an exciting opportunity to shape strategy, build capability and drive revenue growth within a fast-paced B2B environment.

Working closely with Sales and Marketing, you'll be responsible for maximising lead generation performance, improving conversion rates and creating a high-performing culture that delivers results.

The Role

Leading & Developing the Team

  • Lead, coach and inspire a team of Inside Sales and Lead Generation professionals.
  • Set clear KPIs and performance objectives aligned to business goals.
  • Conduct regular coaching, development and performance reviews.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, quality and continuous improvement.
  • Recruit, onboard and develop new team members.

Driving Lead Generation & Pipeline Growth

  • Partner with Marketing to maximise lead generation campaigns and outbound sales initiatives.
  • Monitor lead quality and campaign effectiveness, using data to improve results.
  • Focus on conversion rates and quality opportunities, not just activity volumes.
  • Ensure a consistent pipeline of qualified appointments and sales opportunities.
  • Work closely with Sales Managers to improve conversion and revenue outcomes.

Sales Performance & Continuous Improvement

  • Own pipeline reporting, forecasting and CRM accuracy.
  • Review and optimise sales processes, workflows and performance frameworks.
  • Enhance structured sales methodologies and best practice approaches.
  • Use technology, automation and CRM tools to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Maintain high standards of data quality, GDPR compliance and sales discipline.

  • Basic annual salary of up to £55,000 plus £20,000 OTE.

Your Experience

  • Minimum 3 years' experience leading an Inside Sales, SDR or Lead Generation team.
  • Proven track record of delivering pipeline growth and improving sales performance.
  • Experience managing KPIs, sales forecasting and performance reporting.
  • Strong coaching, leadership and people management skills.
  • Commercially focused with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience operating within a B2B sales environment, ideally involving a rental or recurring revenue model.
