INTERNAL SALES TEAM LEADER

Up to £47k (base + annual profit sharing) | Greater Edinburgh | Flexible hours (8–5 or 7:30–4:30)

Every internal sales team has one person the others go to — the one who spots the opportunity, wins the account, and makes it look natural. If that's been you, this is the role that finally recognises it.

The opportunity:

This is your first leadership role, built the right way round. You keep your own account portfolio — around 70% of your week — and you develop a team of 3–4 around you. Your influence comes from what you deliver, not just what you delegate. When the manager isn't in the building, the decisions sit with you.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Where the business is going:

The sales team is midway through a genuine shift — building new business acquisition alongside a strong base of established accounts. It's a growth story, and it needs someone at the centre of it who sells that way instinctively: someone who opens doors, develops accounts, and shows the team what's possible by doing it in front of them.

The scope you'll have:

Real autonomy on pricing and commercial decisions. A voice in how the sales operation develops. And a mandate to shape the culture of the team around you — how they sell, how they grow accounts, how they think about new business.

The career:

This is a multi-brand group with several business units and a track record of promoting its own people. The pathway into field sales is real and available if that's where you want to take things. Step into this role and you're visible across a much bigger organisation than the one you're leaving.
