About the Role
KBR is seeking an Inside Sales / Commercial Proposals Specialist to support the growth of our Integrated Solutions business unit. Integrated Solutions offers engineering and project delivery services, including pre-FEED (Front-End Engineering and Design), FEED, detailed design, EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction), EPCm (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Maintenance), and PMC (Program Management Consulting) for oil and gas, energy transition and related industries.
The Inside Sales / Commercial Proposals Specialist, reporting to the Senior Manager, Sales, leads commercial bids throughout the lifecycle of the bid process. Their key responsibility involves positioning KBR to win work and supporting business growth in collaboration with sales leads and operations leaders.

Key Responsibilities
In partnership with sales leads, operations, and subject matter experts (SMEs), the specialist will:

Lead the commercial aspects of bid processes, including collaboration with:
- Legal
- Tax
- Finance
- Compliance
- Commercial teams
- Risk management

Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with:
- Business objectives
- Pursuit-specific requirements

Craft commercial principles and pricing models for:
- Pursuits
- Joint venture relationships

Perform due diligence assessing:
- Commercial risks
- Legal considerations
- Financial impacts

Prepare commercial submission documents in compliance with:
- Client requirements

Ensure strict adherence to internal policies and corporate requirements across the bid process

Develop approval paperwork and pursue commercial sign-offs for bids, complying with KBR standards

Aid the sales team and operations in creating upfront positioning action plans, including:
- Win strategy development
- Competitor analysis
- Strategy reviews

Coordinate daily communication with the Senior Sales Manager to:
- Confirm commercial submission accuracy
- Meet critical deadlines

Maintain and update:
- Client Relationship Management System data accuracy for allocated pursuits

Foster collaboration via:
- Knowledge sharing
- Best practice exchange
- Sales-neutral resource optimisation
