Position Overview:
Finning is the world's largest Caterpillar dealer. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer experiences and innovative solutions. We are looking for a motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract.
Job Description:
The Inside Sales Representative will manage and grow a regional portfolio of customers through proactive telephone engagement. This role focuses on driving parts and service revenue, building long‑term customer relationships, and supporting field sales colleagues through effective lead generation. This role offers excellent development opportunities, including exposure to customer visits and a potential pathway into field sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop a portfolio of c. 400 customers via regular call cycles
- Drive parts, service, and CSA sales, meeting set call and revenue targets
- Follow up on service reports to identify and convert incremental sales opportunities
- Manage inbound enquiries and online leads, promoting all purchasing channels
- Maintain accurate CRM records and customer data
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Experience in a sales or telesales environment (desirable)
- Strong communication and persuasion skills with a professional telephone manner
- Target-driven with a strong sales orientation
- Comfortable using CRM systems and MS Office
- Organised, self-motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Full, clean driving licence
