About the Role
We are seeking a driven and client-focused Inside Sales Development Representative to join our growing commercial team in the UK. This role plays a pivotal part in supporting our strategic sales efforts and delivering value to our customers. Based in London, you will work closely with our Sales Director and collaborate across departments to strengthen client relationships, manage internal sales processes, generate new business opportunities, and support campaign execution. You’ll be a key contributor to reporting and forecasting activities and help drive our success in the dynamic world of data center infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Support global Account Managers in nurturing and managing existing customer relationships.
- Own and coordinate client communications, meetings, and touchpoints to ensure high service quality.
- Manage smaller deals and client engagements independently from initiation to close.
- Support the onboarding process of new clients and ensure seamless integration into the nLighten ecosystem.

Prospecting and Lead Generation
- Proactively identify and research potential customers within the target market.
- Execute outbound prospecting campaigns (calls, emails, LinkedIn, events) to generate qualified leads.
- Book discovery meetings for the sales team with key stakeholders.
- Conduct direct outreach as part of sales and marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Technical Operations, Finance) to deliver client-ready solutions.
Sales & Campaign Execution
- Assist in preparing offers, quotes, and documentation in alignment with internal processes.
- Monitor internal workflows and proactively propose improvements to streamline the inside sales cycle.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, nLighten’s services, and competitor positioning.
- Represent nLighten at industry events, webinars, and partner activities when needed.
Reporting & Tools
- Maintain accurate CRM data in Salesforce and generate reports to support forecasting and pipeline visibility.
- Provide structured updates to the Sales Director and other internal stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
- 1-3 years of experience in a sales- or customer-facing role; experience in technology, SaaS, or data center industry is preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
- Can-do attitude with a passion for growth and continuous learning.
- Independent, structured, and tool-based working style.
- Ability to collaborate across departments with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in other European languages is considered a plus.
