Job Title: Inside Sales Representative – Freight & Logistics
Location: Bracknell (Office-based 3 days per week)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:00
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
About the Role
My client is seeking an experienced Inside Sales Representative to join our growing freight and logistics team based in Bracknell. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional with a proven background in the freight forwarding industry who enjoys building relationships, generating new business, and supporting customers with tailored logistics solutions.
Working in a hybrid environment, you'll spend three days per week in our Bracknell office collaborating with the wider commercial team while managing your own portfolio of prospects and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities through outbound sales calls, email campaigns, and lead follow-up.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Prepare competitive freight quotations across air, sea, and road freight services.
- Identify customer requirements and recommend suitable logistics solutions.
- Convert enquiries into profitable business while achieving sales targets.
- Manage the sales pipeline using the CRM system, ensuring all activities are accurately recorded.
- Work closely with operations and pricing teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Negotiate rates and commercial agreements where appropriate.
- Maintain regular contact with customers to identify additional sales opportunities.
- Keep up to date with market trends and competitor activity within the freight and logistics sector.

Essential Requirements
- Previous experience working within the freight forwarding or logistics industry is essential.
- Proven experience in an inside sales, sales support, or business development role.
- Strong understanding of international freight services, including air, sea, and road freight.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Confident negotiating and closing business.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
