Inside Sales Development Representative – Data Centre Infrastructure (UK)

Location: London (Hybrid)
Salary: £40,000 + Up to £26,000 Commission

Data Centre Infrastructure

A leading organisation within the data centre infrastructure sector is seeking an ambitious and client-focused Inside Sales Development Representative to join its growing commercial team in the UK.

This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional looking to develop their career in a fast-moving technology environment. You will play a key role in supporting strategic sales initiatives, building customer relationships, generating new business opportunities, and helping drive growth across a global client base.

Working closely with senior sales leadership and collaborating with teams across marketing, operations, finance, and technical functions, you will gain exposure to complex enterprise sales cycles and contribute directly to commercial success.

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Account Support

  • Support Account Managers in developing and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Coordinate client communications, meetings, and follow-up activities.
  • Manage smaller sales opportunities from initial engagement through to completion.
  • Support new customer onboarding and ensure a smooth client experience.

Lead Generation & Business Development

  • Research and identify prospective customers within target markets.
  • Execute outbound prospecting activities through calls, email, LinkedIn, events, and campaigns.
  • Generate qualified leads and arrange discovery meetings with key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop customer-focused solutions.

Sales Operations & Campaign Support

  • Assist with preparing proposals, quotations, and sales documentation.
  • Support improvements to internal sales processes and workflows.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activity.
  • Represent the business at industry events, webinars, and partner activities where required.

CRM, Reporting & Forecasting

  • Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure strong pipeline visibility.
  • Support sales reporting, forecasting, and performance tracking.
  • Provide structured updates to senior stakeholders.

About You

We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded individual who is passionate about sales, technology, and building strong customer relationships.

You will ideally have:

  • 1–3 years’ experience in a sales, business development, or customer-facing role.
  • Experience within technology, SaaS, telecommunications, or data centre environments (preferred but not essential).
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Experience using CRM platforms (Salesforce experience advantageous).
  • A structured, self-motivated approach with excellent attention to detail.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams.
  • A growth mindset with a willingness to learn and develop.
  • Fluent English language skills (additional European languages are a plus).
