As well as on the job training, DSV will sponsor you to complete your Level 4 apprenticeship in Inside sales. You must be willing to complete this apprenticeship alongside your day-to-day work.
What you will be doing?
As part of our Inside Sales team, you'll learn how to identify opportunities, build customer relationships, and contribute to business growth.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and generating new business opportunities through research, networking, and prospecting activities
- Contacting potential customers by phone and email to introduce DSV's services
- Qualifying leads and understanding customer requirements
- Delivering virtual sales presentations and proposing tailored logistics solutions
- Managing sales activities and customer interactions using Microsoft Dynamics CRM
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships through excellent service and communication
- Supporting customer portfolio growth and identifying opportunities to expand business
- Reviewing and responding to customer feedback and NPS results
- Monitoring sales activity and performance against agreed targets
- Supporting price reviews and negotiating pricing adjustments where appropriate
- Learning about the logistics industry, DSV's services, and professional sales techniques

What we're looking for
We're interested in your potential just as much as your experience.
You will ideally have:
- GCSE English Language and Maths at Grade 4/C or above
- GCSE Business Studies at Grade 5/C or above (preferred but not essential)
- A degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline (desirable but not essential)
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, sales, or other customer-facing roles
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good Microsoft Office skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Confidence speaking with customers and building relationships
- The ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
