Internal Sales Executive
📍 Basildon, Essex
💷 £30,000 - £35,000 Basic Salary + Uncapped Commission
🚀 OTE £45,000+ | Full-Time | Permanent
I'm currently recruiting for an ambitious Internal Sales Executive on behalf of a well-established freight forwarding and logistics business with multiple locations across the South of England.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven sales professional who enjoys winning new business, building customer relationships, and being rewarded for their success through an uncapped commission structure.
The Role
You'll be responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing customer relationships, and selling a range of international freight forwarding services. This is a proactive sales role suited to someone who thrives on prospecting, cold calling, and converting opportunities into long-term clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Generate and win new business through cold calling, networking, and lead generation.
- Build and manage a pipeline of prospective customers.
- Conduct sales presentations and negotiate commercial agreements.
- Develop existing accounts and identify opportunities for additional revenue growth.
- Achieve and exceed monthly revenue and profit targets.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
- Arrange a minimum of 12 new business appointments per week.

About You
- Minimum 2 years' proven B2B sales experience.
- Demonstrable success in cold calling and new business development.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel and CRM systems.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and commercially focused.
- Freight forwarding, logistics, transport, or supply chain sales experience is highly desirable.
