On-Site (5 days) Birmingham office
Position Overview
The Inside Sales Telesales role will support the external Sales Team by:
- Promoting lead generation sales
- Prospecting B2B solutions for new and existing clients
The primary objective is to:
- Generate new and enhanced business opportunities
- Build relationships with customers, sales engineers, and Customer Care Teams
- Achieve sales targets
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development
- Identify and target potential customers in industries requiring B2B lead generation solutions for HVAC and Process Cooling
- Assist Sales Engineers, Customer Care Teams, and Internal Sales to develop and implement sales strategies
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential business opportunities
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline, keeping the CRM accurately updated
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional materials and campaigns
- Personally conduct targeted outbound sales calls

Technical Development
- A desire to learn and develop expertise in HVAC and Process Temperature Control, including Process Chillers, Temperature Control Units, related equipment, and Installations
- Build confidence in technical discussions with customers, supported by internal expertise
- Collaborate with external sales engineering and project management teams
Customer Relationship Management
- Build, maintain, and nurture relationships with existing and potential customers
- Serve as a trusted advisor and point of contact, aligning customer needs with timely and effective solutions
- Secure customer satisfaction and repeat business
- Cooperate with external sales engineering to set appointments and schedule leads on CRM
- Proactive partnership with Customer Care Teams to ensure a positive customer experience
Sales Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance metrics
- Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities for growth opportunities
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations for management teams

Internal Controls
- Comply with and engage with QHSE and Trane Technologies initiatives
- Adhere to country-specific compliance regulations (e.g., risk assessments and QHSE training)
- Follow the internal code of conduct and ethical frameworks

- Align individual business goals to attain bonus targets, contingent upon:
- Customer and stakeholder feedback
- Line manager evaluations
- Any additional tasks as required by your line manager
Skills and Capabilities
- Positive mindset with strong people skills
- Excellent communication
- Sales, Business Development, or Engineering knowledge in B2B would be advantageous
- Ability to lead teams and foster collaborative work
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is beneficial
- Right to Work status confirmed for the country of application
- Driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle in the country of application
