Insight Analyst

Junior Insight Analyst Oxford/Hybrid – Customer Success Team

About the Role

Our Analysts hold a critical role in the success of NielsenIQ. On a daily basis, they collaborate with our extensive client roster—covering some of the nation’s largest brands found in supermarkets, as well as the retailers themselves.

Our clients turn to us for a diverse range of challenges, from new product development and price strategy design to broader business growth. NielsenIQ’s Analysts empower these clients with world-class datasets, transforming data into clear, actionable insights across sectors like Health & Beauty, Beers (Wine & Spirits), or Grocery.

These professionals are skilled storytellers through data, delivering impactful recommendations to drive client growth. Success in this confidence-driven role hinges on building strong relationships—both within NielsenIQ and across client teams including marketing, sales, and category management.

Even if you lack formal statistical experience, our comprehensive training program ensures you master our tools and methodologies. We derive long-term value from curiosity, a data-driven attitude, and a passion for shaping informed business decisions.

Salary Range: £29,100–£32,000 per year (gross), based on objective criteria including experience, skills, and internal equity. We commit to full pay transparency, with compensation decisions grounded in gender-neutral, objective principles and a strict equal pay policy.

Responsibilities

  • Align your expertise with client business priorities, contributing to key phases like brand planning and range reviews.
  • Understanding how NielsenIQ analyses impact critical business goals and drive results for client stakeholders.
  • Facilitating client onboarding for analytical insights services, delivering tactical training on Guided Analytics and NielsenIQ tools (such as Connect Express and Discover).
  • Proactively identifying opportunities through daily client interactions, escalating prospects to Account Development for further pursuit.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
