Junior Insight Analyst
Oxford/Hybrid – Customer Success Team
About This Role
Our Analysts are vital to NielsenIQ’s success. They work daily with our client base, which includes most major supermarket brands—plus the supermarkets and retailers where their products appear. If you’ve shopped recently, you’ve likely encountered their clients. These businesses rely heavily on our expertise.
Our clients approach us with challenges ranging from new product development, price strategy design, and other strategic questions. NielsenIQ’s Analysts collaborate to create and present data-driven insights using the world’s best datasets. Our insights team supports clients in Health and Beauty, Beers & Wine, Spirits, or Grocery.
Our staff are confident and capable in crafting compelling actionable insights, delivering clear recommendations to help clients grow their business.
An ideal candidate for this role will establish strong relationships within our client teams (including marketing, sales, category managers) and internally. You’ll quickly become a trusted partner, honing clients’ needs and presenting solutions that achieve their strategic and tactical goals.

Salary: £29,100 to £32,000 gross per annum. Placement is based on experience, skills, and internal equity considerations. We are committed to equal pay and pay transparency, ensuring decisions are struck using gender-neutral, objective criteria.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a strong grasp of client business priorities and how NielsenIQ can support them, including participation in cycles like brand planning and range reviews.
- Understand how our insights impact individual client objectives.
- Be responsible for:
- Setting up client onboarding for analytics & insights services.
- Conducting tactical client training for guided analytics tools, including NielsenIQ Connect Express and Discover.
- Identify opportunities through client engagements, then hand them off to Account Development for partnership inquiries.

Qualifications
- Strong time management, prioritization, and a track record of delivering projects on time.
- Confident and comfortable with numbers.
- Proficient in data analysis.
- Solutions-oriented, detail-oriented, problem-solving mindset.
- Engaging presenter, able to bring data to life.
- Great at building relationships internally and externally.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in an analytical environment preferred.
- Understanding of FMCG industry trends.
- Capable of using Excel, PowerPoint, and similar analytical tools.
