Location: Hybrid role 3 days per week, based in Reading (Winnersh Triangle)
Overview
As Insights Analyst, you will play a critical role in developing strategic consulting deliverables for some of the largest brands in the world. You will apply and develop your analytical, interpersonal, creative thinking, business management and leadership skills from day one. Your work will directly impact revenue and will be of critical importance to Profitero’s strategic initiatives. This role will enable you to work directly with clients to help them solve some of their most pressing business challenges. You will work directly with project leads and clients to solve pressing digital commerce challenges.
You will own key project workstreams, synthesise complex quantitative and qualitative inputs, and translate findings into clear, actionable strategies.
What you'll do
- Partner directly with Profitero’s consulting leads to execute strategic consulting engagements
- Lead quantitative and qualitative analysis using data from Profitero+, the client, and 3rd party syndicated data partners
- Perform first party research via interviews with necessary groups, such as employees, management, and market participants to aid in development of client deliverables
- Develop executive-ready presentations with clear, data-backed recommendations
- Contribute to virtual and in-person client presentations and workshops
- Support internal knowledge development through industry research and best practice sharing

It would be nice if you
- Have prior eCommerce, CPG/retail, and/or consulting experience
- Have hands-on experience with Analytics tools (e.g., Sigma, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Python)
- Understand digital shelf KPIs and best practices
Who you are
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 1 - 2 years of increasing responsibility at one or more of the following: Supplier - CPG, Retailer (with an eCommerce presence), Strategy Consulting Firm, Agency or Technology Partner in the eCommerce space
- High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to interpret, storyboard, and present data effectively
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesise data into clear business implications
- Confident communicator, including contributing in client presentations and workshops
- Highly organised and accountable, with strong attention to detail
- High level of EQ; you can put yourself in a client’s shoes and operate accordingly
- Intellectually curious and motivated to deepen expertise in digital commerce
