What will you be doing?
The Insight Director drives client retention, contract renewal, and revenue growth by delivering products and services aligned to client needs. This role enhances market understanding and builds brand equity.
Key Focus Areas:
- Leading relationships within the CPG Category Growth Food team.
- Delivering high-quality, data-driven insights using Circana’s data.
- Ensuring strong commercial acumen, leadership, and industry expertise.
- Revenue ownership, strategic growth, and long-term account expansion.
Travel: Regular visits to client sites in Weybridge and Blackpool, with occasional trips to the Bracknell head office.
Job Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Drive client growth: Identify and pursue opportunities to expand client relationships, aligning Circana’s solutions to their strategic goals.
- Drive multi-threaded engagement: Expand the client footprint and reduce dependency on single stakeholders.
- Lead strategic sessions: Surface commercial opportunity (not just performance reviews).
- Deliver insight-led solutions: Translate complex data into actionable insights, helping clients make informed decisions.
- Manage the sales cycle: Lead prospecting, needs assessment, solution development, negotiation, and closing.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with Client Services, Product, and Analytics teams for integrated solutions.
- Maintain industry expertise: Stay current on trends in Retail, CPG, and client portfolio—positioning Circana as a thought leader.
- Build strategic relationships: Develop and maintain strong ties with decision-makers and influencers.
- Utilise sales tools/platforms: Leverage Unify+, Liquid Data, and Intelligence Suite for client engagements.
- Achieve revenue targets: Meet/exceed individual sales goals through disciplined pipeline management.
- Champion client success: Proactively address challenges and identify growth opportunities, delivering consistent value.
- Enhance product development: Provide market feedback to refine offerings.

Requirements
You must have:
- Experience engaging senior stakeholders (C-suite) to build strategic relationships.
- Capacity to influence client decisions with a deep understanding of business challenges and value propositions.
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights, supported by:
- Advanced analytical thinking
- Financial P&L management
- Strong understanding of technology and Circana’s solutions
- Proven leadership skills in areas such as:
- Communication & negotiation
- Managing diverse/remote teams
- Driving collaboration and results
- Creativity and resilience to adapt amidst change.
