Insight Manager - Nestle

Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: £60,000 per annum + annual company bonus
Working: 35 hours, Monday to Friday
Location: Winnersh, RG41 (Hybrid) + travel to client site
Powerforce are looking for an experienced Insight Manager to join our growing data and insights team partnering with Nestlé working across our convenience, OOH & RTM channels. You’ll be a key player, responsible for extracting actionable insights from field data to inform business decisions and shape strategies to maximise return on investment and drive success for our customers.
What You'll Be Doing
This isn't just about reporting; it’s about influence. You will bridge the gap between raw field data and executive-level decision-making.
- Stakeholder Partnership: Collaborate with senior leadership and key business stakeholders internally and externally; to define data requirements and drive strategic business goals.
- Data Strategy: Contribute to the development of data strategy and utilise data to solve business challenges and drive continuous improvements.
- Data Modelling: Develop and apply data models to assess performance, measure return on investment (ROI), forecast outcomes, and support strategic decision-making.
- Actionable Insights: Analyse field and business data to identify trends, uncover opportunities, and provide clear, commercially focused recommendations that deliver value to clients.
- Visual Storytelling: Design and maintain engaging, customer-focused dashboards and reporting solutions using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Pyramid, transforming complex data into compelling business narratives.
- Data Management & Integrity: Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance standards are maintained, while working with data structures, models, and pipelines to support reliable reporting and analytics.
- Project Leadership: Lead or contribute to data and insight initiatives from requirements gathering and solution design through to implementation, adoption, and business impact measurement.
- People Leadership & Development: Lead, coach, and develop three Data & Insights Analysts as well as a Business Analyst, fostering a high-performance culture, building capability, and ensuring the team delivers high-quality outputs aligned to business priorities.

What We’re Looking For
- Strategic Leadership: Proven ability to move beyond operational reporting by leveraging data to support business strategy, drive performance improvements, and influence decision-making.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior leaders, customers, and operational teams to translate business needs into data solutions.
- Technical Mastery: Advanced Excel skills and a good understanding of data structures, data integration processes, and reporting environments. Exposure to cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure) and familiarity with data pipelines and data architecture concepts would be advantageous.
- Insight to Action: Demonstrated ability to translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience using data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Pyramid to create meaningful and engaging dashboards with the practical application of tools e.g. Power BI, Tableau, or Pyramid for data visualisation.
- Project Expertise: Experience contributing to or leading data and insight projects, from requirements gathering and data design through to dashboard development and stakeholder adoption.
