12 Month Fixed Term Contract
Location: Edinburgh
Salary: £32,000–£37,000 (depending on experience)

At Elevate Great, we're looking for an Insight Analyst to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a range of projects, helping us identify emerging opportunities, understand complex challenges, and generate insights that support innovation and social impact.
About the role
As our Insight Analyst, you'll explore complex problems, identify patterns and unmet needs, and transform research into meaningful insights that influence strategic decision-making.
Working collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams, you'll combine qualitative and quantitative research with critical thinking to help shape programmes that reduce inequality and create lasting change.
You'll have the opportunity to:
- Conduct exploratory research across areas including social impact, healthcare, education, technology, innovation and public policy.
- Analyse qualitative and quantitative data to identify trends, opportunities and emerging themes.
- Generate actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.
- Produce engaging reports, presentations and recommendations for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Undertake stakeholder and ecosystem mapping.
- Work closely with colleagues and external partners in a collaborative, matrix environment.

About you
We're looking for someone who is intellectually curious, thoughtful and enjoys solving complex problems.
You'll ideally have:
- Experience in insight generation, strategic analysis, innovation research, impact evaluation or a related field.
- Strong quantitative analytical skills, with mathematical foundations and experience using R and Python for statistical analysis, predictive modelling or similar analytical work.
- Experience using qualitative research methods.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking and communication skills.
- The ability to synthesise complex information into clear, evidence-based recommendations.
- A collaborative approach and confidence working with a range of stakeholders.
